Jawaharlal Institute Of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research , Pondicherry-6 is a Government of India established Medical Institution. It is One of the Most Prestigious Medical Colleges in India where admission to the MBBS course is strictly by Merit based on an entrance examination which is conducted every year in June.

There is no prescribed Syllabus but Entrance Examination covers the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English consisting of only one paper. The paper is of multiple Choice type of question which evaluate the candidates objectively. The standard is that of Higher Secondary (Plus Two) examination of any Indian state Board/University.

About 60,000 students write this Entrance Examination every year and only the very best of them get their seats, Even one wrong answer can make you the loser in this very tough Competition. Therefore a candidate has to be very thorough in the subject and must read the question and understand what is expected and he must mark the answers correctly.

In any entrance Examination, 50% of the questions are usually repeated from the previous years Entrance papers. So a student who has had the privilege of going through the previous 38 years Entrance Examination papers has tremendous advantage then another student who has not. This is like running 100 metre race with a 50% advantages from the beginning itself; which will surely get you top marks.

Since it is a 38 years series, many questions which were repeated have been left out. The Questions are given only once in this book to avoid repetition. These questions were gathered form the memory of hundreds of my friends who wrote the Entrance Examination. I have also compiled model questions apart from the original ones.

I also rearranged the questions and answers as almost all these questions have been repeated many times in the same or different format.
